After upgrading to 8.8.0, WIKI markup is not being rendered in the Description of Custom Fields

The custom field description shows the markup code. Here is an example:

If Exposure = 1-4, then select <bold>(Low)</bold>
If Exposure = 5-10, then select <bold>(Medium)</bold>
If Exposure = 11-25, then select <bold>(High)</bold>

Before the upgrade, custom field descriptions looked normal:

If Exposure = 1-4, then select (Low)
If Exposure = 5-10, then select (Medium)
If Exposure = 11-25, then select (High)
