Hello,
I am trying to use auto scheduler to schedule my task execution.
I used "Blocked" as relation to define the dependencies
The project is in Kanban mode
I set settings to sequential.
I used target start and target end to define the timeline.
I added story points
I set the same target start to all stories & the same target end (target start + 5 days) to all stories
When starting auto scheduler it returns with "0 changes found" although basically all dependencies are in violation.
How can I solve this?
Hello @Rue
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Are you using Jira Server/Data Center or Jira Cloud?
If you are using Jira Server/Data Center, what version of it are you using?
If you are using Jira Cloud, what type of project(s) does your Roadmap include; Software, Service, or Business, and are they Company-managed or Team-managed?
Hello @Trudy Claspill
How can I find that out?

Hello @Rue
From the images you posted in response to @Marc -Devoteam- I can see that you are using Jira Data Center. The images for Advanced Roadmaps (called Plans) in Jira Cloud would be different.
It would be useful to know the verion of Jira Data Center you are using.
In the upper right corner near your avatar is a Help button (a question mark). Click on that then click the About Jira option.
In the pop-up you should see a version number similar to 9.17.2. What is that version number.

These dependency violation I would expect to be auto scheduled

Hi @Rue
Based on your last image, dates are set, not by auto scheduler.
Which field of type date is used?
Also is you project a scrum project based on sprints and/or are you using teams and are the team fields set on the work items?

Based on your last image, dates are set, not by auto scheduler:
* It did not auto schedule without dates and not with dates
Which field of type date is used?
* Unfortunately, I don't understand the question
Also is you project a scrum project based on sprints and/or are you using teams and are the team fields set on the work items?:
* It is not based on scrum
* yes, team is set

Hi @Rue
Did you link your Team to the plan based on the kanban board and set the team capacity in hours?
Are the stories estimated?
If you auto schedule all stories, with no dates, they will all have the same start and end date, and dependencies are not respected, unless estimations have been set on the stories

Expectation that Auto-schedule can plan all the stories based on dependencies and also Overall Team capacity is set for this Plan.
"Story points" as well as "Target start" and "Target End" attributes are current set, together with relations "Blocks" \ "Is Blocked By" for all the stories.
