Advanced Roadmaps - General Questions

Hi!

As a Premium user and admin, I was playing with Advanced Roadmaps for the first time and after setting up a cross-project release I ended up not being able to figure out some of the questions I had, which I was hoping perhaps you could help me out with as follows:

1. After applying view settings changes and filters I ended up with a view of my roadmap that I'd like to share but there doesn't seem to be a way for that view to stick as all my customizations go away once I refresh the page.

I'd like to share my view with other users but I'm not sure whether they'd see the same view I customized or the standard one (reset and without customizations).

Is there a way to save my view after I make those customizations? Otherwise, I don't see the point of sharing with stakeholders that won't know how to manipulates the roadmaps to get the view they're expecting to see...

2. on my timeline view, I can adjust to 3M, 1 year, Fit, etc but how do I actually display sprints aggregated with that view? I managed to add a sprint column but I want the sprints to actually show in the timeline so you can see the timeline bars span across time and sprints.

I've seen videos and images on the web that show the sprints that way but haven't figured out how to do that...

3. I thought Advanced Roadmaps' capability to create a cross-project release would create a global "release" object that I would actually be able to use to assign to my tickets through the Fix Version field when all it seems to do is to visually group individual project releases into one single view inside of AR. Or am I wrong here and it actually creates a global release in Jira?

My use case is that I have squads working through different projects in Jira around the same application. So we need to ensure sprints and releases are aligned across all squad projects.

What we do to keep consistency is to name all the releases inside of each squad the same way so it appears we're all using the same release when the truth is that each release is a separate object inside of Jira. That's one of the things I thought AR would be solving but it doesn't appear to do so. Can someone please confirm?

Thank you very much!
