Administratively setting Task Board View and Mode defaults?

Greenhopper allows for users to configure how they view issues -- Card, Summary, or List and the modes of Compact or Outline.

The out of the box defaults for everyone seem to be Summary and Outline. I'd like to make this starting default List and Compact. Any way for me to do this? I am an Admin for the instance.

If not a configuration, is there a way to modify programatically?
