can I grant the role of project lead to more than one person? I would like 2 people to have project-lead type access to two different projects. How do I give them access? I see there's an administrators role. If I add these 2 users to be an administrator, they would be administrators on all of JIRA, correct? I only want them to have administrator level access to these 2 specific projects. The scheme these projects on are being used by 9 other projects so I don't want to give them access on the scheme level. I just want to give them admin access on these 2 specific projects.

Hello,

Have a look at the project permission scheme for these projects. You will see the Administer projects permission there. The Administrator role will be included there as well as the project lead. If it is the case, you can add these two people to the Administrator role. They will get only the Administrator role permission and any other permission, where the Administrator role is included. But it is not the Jira Administration permission. the Jira Administrator permission is granted to groups not roles in the Global permissions.

You can find more info about project permissions here:
