We are currently in the middle of a sprint. We often utilize the burnup and burndown charts; however, the inclusion of weekends and public holidays in the x-axis results in an inaccurate "ideal burn rate". I have administrative rights. I would like to know how to remove weekends and public holidays from the x-axis. How can I set this up?

Hi @이정인 and welcome to the Community!

Am I guessing correctly that this is a burnup chart in a team managed project? If so, you cannot configure this. However, you may assume that the guideline is linear from the start to the end of your sprint and you can assume that - because the weekends are included - the line is less steep than it would be if weekends were considered as non working days. So, to remain on target you should be slightly ahead of the timeline in the beginning of your sprint.

In a scrum board in company managed projects, you can identify your team's working days (in board settings > working days). Over there, the weekend days will be displayed as a flat line, but - as I mentioned - the guideline will be slightly steeper because of that on working days.

Hope this helps!

Hi @이정인,

Not sure if this Jira report can be configured or adjusted in any way.

But, if a payed add-on can be an option for you, you could try the Sprint Burndown Burnup Chart gadget offered by our Great Gadgets app, which has an option for excluding the weekends.

Thank you,

Danut Manda
