Adjusting column width

Hi All,

We have a project with a high number of columns in the workflow. On a next-gen project, the board view shows all columns at a nice width, but on a classic project they are all scrambled together.

How do I solve this and make it look more appealing?

Regards,

Rob

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas, guys. Appreciate it. Looks like I'll continue this particular project as a next-gen project for the time being.

HI @Rob C

In addition to what @Jack Brickey suggests, there are some browser add-ons, such as for Chrome.  I haven't had a lot of luck getting those to work consistently.

There are several suggestions to add better board column control, including this one I wrote a while ago:

Able to collapse columns on Kanban board

Best regards,

Bill

That is a lot of columns. If you really want all of these on a board then there is little you can do. Consider using less columns with multiple statuses mapped to each column. For example, let’s say you have To Do and several statuses reflecting development and several for test and then a few for Done. Consider To Do, In Dev, In Test, Done and map the appropriate statuses to each. You can display the status in the card if desired.
