In an active sprint using the story view Swim lane, the Story #, Status, # of Subtasks and the clear name (title) of the user story appear. I want to add the Epic Number next to the user story number. This way, it is easier to see the Epic numbers without opening each story. How do I modify this view to insert an additional field?

You can add the epic link to the card layout would that suffice?

Hi @Michael Fuhrman -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, and...to what Jack noted: there are several suggestions to add the epic to the swim lane, summary information; all are several years old:

Best regards,
Bill

Jack- I don not think that adding the Epic link to the card lay out will insert the Epic # onto the collapsed view of each user story. When all of the issues are collapsed and you are looking at the view on the attachment, I'd like to also see the Epic #. Right? Maybe I am missing something in your suggestion.

Correct it will not be visible in the collapsed view.
