Adding/editing hierarchy levels

Hi, 

I have the case in my business to add to the existing Issue Type Hierarchy, but don't want to break existing relational links

I don't seem to be able to make any changes to levels -1, 0 or 1.
But can add levels above this.

My question is:

If I add a level at level 2, does it break relational links at all levels of the hierarchy or only where a level is inserted between 2 existing levels

That's correct adding a level 2 wouldn't break links. But introducing the Issue Hierarchy between existing levels or modifying those will have impact.

I would recommend you to try in  sandbox first before you make any changes to issue-type-Hierarchy

Hi Robert,

If you add levels above it will not affect any of your existing issues and their hierarchy. So add away!
