Adding '&' to a Component/s name selection

Hi All, since upgrading to Jira DC 10.3.19, whenever we add a 'Component/s selection containing '&' Jira interprets it as '&amps'. It does display correctly in the issues raised that have that component selected, but does not display correctly when being selected upon Creation / edit of an issue.

Has anybody experienced this also, and is there a fix / workaround for this?

there is an open bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-79357 that will be fixed in 10.3.22 release.
