Adding a table to a custom field

I am attempting to create a field that displays a table. I have created a custom paragraph field but there is no option in the field configuration to change the renderer to Wiki Style. Am I missing something?

All paragraph fields now use the wiki style rich text renderer, and the plain-text option has been deprecated (see https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Jira-articles/We-re-removing-the-default-text-renderer-in-Jira/ba-p/3025886)

The good news is you don't have anything extra to do, and you should be able to use tables in that field.  Is there something that's not working as expected?

Hello!

Depending on your use case, you may be able to leverage some other functionality to get what you need. If you're trying to populate with existing data, an asset field may work well for you.
