Adding a summary button to a software project

How can I add the summary button option to an existing software project without affecting how the board works and looks.

I need to be able to report out on progress of tasks within the board, to be able to show open, in progress & done activities.

Hi Jon,

The best what to do that is through a Dashboard as you can't really do these types of things at the project level in Jira. And you will probably need an add-on app to accomplish it.
