Adding a group in watchers for a jira issue.

Lets say, I have group called "XYZ" which has user1, user2, user3, user4.

I want to add these people as watcher to a issue, Instead of adding individual users. All the 4 users have jira tool and project access. But when I add that XYZ group, all the users are not visible, only 2 users are visible during addition.

Hi Soumya,

Let's say Jira doesn't allow for that yet. This means that you will need to find a solution outside of the Atlassian application. Have you considered use of a service account associated with distribution list? Oh ya, and supporting evidence. Cheers!
