Adding View Issue permissions with limitations

I have a locked down project, where only the project administrator can see all issues, and reporters can only see their own issues.

Could I possibly open this project up slightly and allow reporters A and B to see each others reported issues, without seeing those reported by others? 

Any methods are welcomed.

I managed to get this sorted in between projects. Basically I added an Issue Security Level with with members I wanted and granted them the Browse Projects permission. Now any issues that are opened with the new security level can be viewed by both group members.
