I have a field on Epics to indicate what "Package" a particular project is part of. I'd like to have that package also display on the detail view for any of the Epic's child issues.
You could add the same custom field to the child issues and use an Automation Rule to copy the information from the parent Epic to the child issues.
You would need to accommodate the scenarios where the value changes in the parent Epic and needs to be updated to the child issues, and when child issues are removed from and/or added to Epics.
