Hello @Ramesh Krishnan

It is not possible to selectively edit text fields in that manner with the native Bulk Change feature.

You could do that through Automation Rules. You must be a Jira Administrator to create Automation Rules, or a Project Administrator may be able to create Automation Rules if the Jira Admins have granted that permission to them.

Do you have the level of access necessary to create Automation Rules?

On a side note, if "clone" is being automatically added to the Summary of issues when the Clone action is used, that is a global setting that can be modified so that it is no longer added. That is a global setting, though, and would affect every manual use of the Clone feature going forward.

How many issues do you need to change?

Are the issues from which you want to remove key words the same ones to which you want to add keywords?

Can you construct a JQL to select the issues you want to update?

Do you need to do this just once or will you need to run it multiple times or on a regularly scheduled basis?

What is your experience with creating Automation rules? Have you tried to create this rule? Show us what you have so far.
