Hi I have added a new custom field in Jira named "Severity" same as default priority but it is not visible on screen Are there any additional changes do I need to make?
Hi @abbas baman ,
When you created the field, Jira let's you apply its scope to all projects and all issue types or limit what the field applies to.
So first, check and see that the field is available for the desired project(s) and issue type(s).
Next, check that the field is applied to the proper screens used by the project. (Since you have two fields of the same name you might have the wrong one on the screen.)
Finally, also check the project's field configuration to make sure the field is not specifically hidden.
Let us know if this helps!

Hi @abbas baman , thanks for adding the gif! Can you try adding the field to your "Edit" screen and then giving it a value in the issue? Fields that don't have values aren't automatically displayed.
Try this and let us know if it helps!
Thanks,
Rachel
