Hello! We created a new issue type CVE and want to add it to all our engineering projects in Jira Software. I created Screen Scheme, Issue Type Screen Scheme, Workflow and associated issue type to Issue Type Screen and Workflow. Where I stuck is adding issue type to a Project. When I add new issue type, it is added as Default Field Configuration and Default Screen Scheme (see screenshot). But I need to add it as CVE Screen and CVE Workflow. How can I associate Screen and workflow properly and not mess up existing issue type settings (tasks, bugs, epics, etc)?
Here is CVE Screen Scheme
Hello @Yuliia Vyborova
A project can have only one Issue Type Screen Scheme associated with it, so creating a new Issue Type Screen Scheme for the one new issue type is not necessary.
If you want to add a new issue type to the project and give that issue type a unique set of screens you have to:
1. First add the new issue type to the Issue Type Scheme associated with the project.
2. Then modify the Issue Type Screen Scheme. The new issue type will have been automatically associated to an Screen Scheme. You have to change the Issue Type Screen Scheme to associate the new issue type to the Screen Scheme you created specifically for it.
Similarly a project can have only one Workflow Scheme associated to it. After adding the new issue type to the Issue Type Scheme of the project you will have to modify the project's Workflow Scheme to associate that new issue type to the Workflow that you created for it.

Hello! I have a question about workflows - when I added my new issue type CVE to projects, it is added into existing default project workflow (Shared App Dec Issues Workflow). How can I add issue type with its CVE Workflow?
However CVE Workflow is added to this project. How can I re-associate workflow?

@Trudy Claspill I got what the point is! I didn't publish my draft with my new CVE workflow. One question that I have, if I map statuses from old workflow to ny new CVE workflow (as shows on the screenshot), will that rewrite only CVE issue type, not other issue types in this workflow? I need to ensure that I don't mess up things

Yes, the mapping of statuses shown in your last image will apply only to the issue type shown on the left side - the CVE issue type.
