I am having the same problem as documented here:
I am using the option to Add/Remove values and have specified my label in the top box and left the bottom box blank. My label is overwriting any existing label. I see no real fix for this issue. Is it a known bug? Does anyone have a fix?
@Kathy Dickason I am having similar trouble. I read through the initial post and all the responses listed in the post you reference, and for every option (set, addremove, copy) it sometimes works, but never with 100% reliability. This is so unacceptable and I also wonder if it's a bug. We might be able to use a different approach, which is to use the "More Options" section and type in what you need in the additional fields box
I have used this to apply a user name label and it has never removed any existing labels. I'm going to try this method in place of selecting the Labels field and typing the label I want added. Wish me luck! I'll post an update after a few days.

I didn't have the "Copy from issue" tag in there before and recently added it. That seems to help retain the old label value instead of wiping it. This was stated in the link I sent above. But why do I need this if I am choosing to Add EpicPointUpdate to the Label? Is this a bug? I'm afraid to turn on this automation as in the link I provided above, the author stated that this only works sometimes!! I cannot afford the risk of having this this wipe out the current label again. Will having the "Copy from issue" in there prevent that from happening?
