Add a custom field to project details section

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
We would like to add 2 custom fields to project details screen that is shown below in the attached image. These fields will allow us to categorize projects.
Could you please guide us how to achieve this.
