I added the link of a SharePoint Online file as a weblink to a Jira issue.
Jira Cloud recognizes the weblink as a SharePoint/Onedrive link and offers me the possibility to build a preview.
Is this a new build-in feature in Jira and Confluence Cloud? I did not find any articles or news regarding this opportunity.
If the preview will look great I guess that every chargeable SharePoint -Jira/Confluence integration would be redundant.
Has anyone already tried the built in connectivity?

These are so-called smart links. Even though there's quite a bit of fuss around this functionality between more and less enthusiasts, Atlassian has been promoting this feature for a couple of years. Here's a couple of community/support articles that provide a bit more context:
Atlassian is gradually extending the integration with more and more products, so it is always possible that this specific Sharepoint/OneDrive smart link is a recent addition.

If you want to attach SharePoint files in Jira issues, now you can do that!(having them listed in a card or list view) Give it a try to SharePoint Connector for Jira and break free from information silos and duplicated content by integrating SharePoint with Jira!
