Add Parent limitations in Jira NexGen

Is any way to "add parent" other than an Epic ? for instance I want to create this hierarchy  

Epic-> Feature-> Story-> Task, but the limitations of Jira NexGen don't let me do it , if this is going to target an agile audience it should be flexible enough to allow any kind of hierarchies

Unfortunately this isn't available using standard Jira Software.  However, you can define a hierarchy using Portfolio for Jira or the BigPicture addons.

Thanks for your reply. I am assuming when you mentioned "standard jira" you are talking about the NexGen version correct. Also do you know if Portfolio for Jira is something available for NextGen or an add-on feature ?

NextGen is a project type in the Cloud version of Jira.  Regardless of whether you are using nextgen projects or standard projects, you will need an add-on.  Either of the two I mentioned will work.
