Hi Support,

we are trying to create the issue in Jira database by copying the new issue from SP list to Database using Layer 2 Connection. i can add the Issue manually in database but it is not showing in the application.

Kindly help to add the issue items from the external source or Database to show the same in the JIRA Application.

Thanks and Regards:

Hello,

Do no add an issue via database. It is not the way it should be done. Use REST API instead:

When you "added an issue in the database", did you do it properly?

Jira was offline and a full backup taken before running the (at least) 4 inserts and updates, and a full re-index done after restarting?

If not, then you will need to revert all the changes you made, very very carefully, while Jira is offline.  Ideally, go back to the last good backup.
