Add/Edit Fields in Projects

Mark Kessels

In a company owned project I want to add/edit the fields of the (Business) project (not the issues) in "Projects" --> "Project Name" -->"Project Settings" --> "Details". How can I do this?

Hi Mark,

You need to go to Settings > Issues > Custom fields to make changes or create new fields.

Hi @Mark Kessels

Welcome to the Atlassian community. I wish you great stint in the community forum.

As @Jack Brickey mentioned you can't add new fields, but only edit the existing once.

If you have Jira admin permissions, then you have option to "edit" (project type, category) the fields in the project settings>>details section.

Kindly check this documentation on edit projects for more information.

Stay safe and stay healthy.
