Adapt Confluence template for release notes created via Jira?

Hi Community!

Here is an easy question:

When creating release notes in a Jira space you can choose to create them in Confluence (Documentation).

This will open the Confluence editor with a default template.
Is it possible to adapt this template?

Currently I edit the page every time. But I'd rather adapt the template.
If it's not possible I'll just create the release notes directly in Confluence skipping Jira.

Hi @Charlie Misonne ,

If you are open for marketplace apps, you may have a look at this free app

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1223567/free-ai-powered-automated-release-notes-reports-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Here, you have full control over the structure of your template and you can fully automate the publishing of release notes to confluence. No manual updates needed.

PS: I'm part of the team who built this app.

Thanks @Sujeet Pathak - Amoeboids

We'll not go for a plugin to solve this. The project is too small for this.

Thanks anyway!

Unfortunately there is no option to adapt the template.

OK! Makes the feature less useful than I hoped 😭

Back to normal templating I guess.
