Activity Stream not properly filtering based on selected filter

I have a filter defined to locate specific bugs for review. I want to use Activity Stream to watch for comments on this filtered list, but Activity Stream shows bugs that are outside the filter results.

I have it set with a Global Filter for an Update Date to ignore older items, the Filters Stream has the filter selected and the Jira activity is "Comment added". The filter will return 3 items but the Activity Stream shows 2 additional items that are outside the scope of the selected filter.

Any ideas?

This sounds like a bug to me as you describe it. I would go ahead and open a Support Ticket with Atlassian:
