Active directory LDAP, migrating from internal to LDAP, Jira 6

We've received a JIRA database, and have everything installed and configured properly.  In addition our AD JIRA integration is confirmed working.   Now we have a slew of local users, which don't match their correct names in AD, so we cannot perform a migration.

How do we approach this problem?  Is there any addons or methods we should use?
