Hi, I want to host a free meetup to teach the IT-inspiring juniors the importance of knowing JIRA as one of the more important skills one should have in the industry, because I was shocked almost no one of them knew what it was! I need about 30-40 accounts which could just be active for a couple of days for the attendees to play around. Is there any way I can get a bulk, or can they register for free test ones themselves? Would it include Confluence?
Thanks
Karolina, your friendly local Jira evangelist;)
Hi Karolina, and welcome to the Community!
Our Cloud products offer a free 7 day trial. You can set up an Atlassian Cloud instance containing both Confluence and Jira Software here: https://www.atlassian.com/try/cloud/signup?bundle=confluence-jira-software
I'd recommend doing this a day or two before your event so the attendees have a couple days to play around, but you still have a chance to get it up and running! Our Cloud products have an option in administration to add multiple (up to 5 at a time) users by pasting email addresses:
Alternatively, you can give them a URL where they can request access (and then you grant it), or better yet, you can allow users from a particular email domain to automatically join! For all the options about inviting users, check out this knowledgebase article.
Your event sounds pretty awesome! You might also be interested to know we have Atlassian-sponsored Community events all around the world. You run the event, and we provide the pizza! Find an event near you (or sign up to become a Leader) from our events site!
Cheers,
Daniel | Atlassian
