Hello,
Way back in the spring I started singing into Jira using Gmail authentication. Ever since then, I have lost the ability to manage my projects. My user is still listed as an admin on the project AND site though. What details would help me diagnose this issue?
Hello @Grant Otto
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Right now, I see you have two different accounts active on your site (One using the @gmail domain and another one using your company domain). Can you please confirm to us which one you are trying to log in and use to manage your projects?
Additionally, can you please provide us with the screenshot of the error/message displayed when you navigate to the project administration page (Project settings of any project)? Or this option is not even appearing for you?
Taking a deeper look at your accounts, it seems that both are properly configured to allow you to log in and manage your projects (Both are site-admins), so I'm afraid this could be a Sync problem with G-Suite or maybe a browser cache issue. Can you try to login using a different browser in incognito mode and check if the same behavior reproduces?
Additionally, check if your Product access menu is properly configured with the site-admin group in the Administration Access tab. More specifically, check if you are added to any of the groups listed there:
If the steps above did not work, please provide us with a screenshot displaying the behavior you are facing so we can further investigate.
Incognito did not work. I am not even seeing the option to open the project settings. I am primarily using my grantotto@gmail.com account.

Hello @Grant Otto
Thank you for the details
Can you please provide us with the information requested before? We still need the following info:
Additionally, check if your Product access menu is properly configured with the site-admin group in the Administration Access tab. More specifically, check if you are added to any of the groups listed there:
Considering your last comment and details, I believe the only possible reason that could cause your issue would be if your user is not added to any of the groups listed in the menu above (Jira Administration). If your user is added to any of the groups in the Jira administration section, can you please provide us with a screenshot?

Adding the groups in the Product Access -> Administrator Access worked. I don't know how they got removed, but I am guessing it happened whenever the site upgrade happened back in the spring.
Thank you!
