Accessing Jira behind Pulse Secure VPN

Hi,

I'm trying to get our instance of Jira accessible from behind a Pulse Secure VPN via a web link. Unfortunately, the normal method of doing this doesn't work as I believe it clashes with java.

The issue I have is identical / very similar to this: https://kb.pulsesecure.net/articles/Pulse_Secure_Article/KB40454

I can log in, but I just get an empty dashboard. Clicking on the drop down menus doesn't show anything.

I have tried the filter provided by pulsesecure, but the issue remains. I'm wondering if there are other changes that have happened meaning it no longer works. I'm running Jira 8.13.0 on a more recent version of pulsesecure (9.1R5).

I'm opening a support ticket with pulsesecure, but wondered if anyone else had a similar problem with a more recent version of Jira and how did you work around it.
