Access to app Xray

Hello everyone,

is it possible to create a group, add users to it and assign this group to a specific app in Jira Software?

The app I'm talking about is called "Xray Test Management for Jira". 

For testing reasons, only 2 persons should be able to install and work with Xray.

I only found documentation (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/manage-group-access-to-applications-938847042.html) about how to assign a group to a product like Jira Software. But I think, that's something different.

Generally speaking an app install on a Jira Cloud instance is available to all licensed users of that instance. Some apps have independently added configuration options to include limiting access to their functionality. You should contact the support team for Xray to find out if they provide such a capability.
