Absolute conditional search in "single issue picker" field

Enter the key value SW-9 in the "single issue picker" field of jira. The field will automatically display SW-999 ~ SW990. How can I correctly select SW-9?

Hi Adams - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It will be there, you might just have to scroll all of the way down. You can try putting a space after the 9 but not sure that will help. The other thing is to type in the name instead of the key.

Test Results:

1. The scroll method will only cycle through the 10 pre-selected data.

2. Entering a blank character after SW-9 also preselects SW-999 ~ SW990.

3. Entering summary name is invalid.

Is this custom field type coming from an add-on? That is not a standard field type in Jira Cloud that I see.

The custom field type is standard "Single Issue Picker" type.
