About develop a custom fields in jira cloud
Hi friends, I have a problem hope some can put me in the right way. my team is searching about adding some functionallity to one jira cloud custom field, the functionallity is the next one: First we need to add functionallity to that custom field to work like a select2 component with autosearch in the values that it have, Second we need populate that field retrieving information from another project ( retrieving the name of some issues registered on that project), thats it, we achieve this by creating another app separated from jira native issues (sorry i don´t know the correct name of jira cloud native components) using the Api that jira cloud provides and it work perfectly but the question here is, it can be achived by developing a custom field by ourself and adding it to the jira cloud native fields?,is this feasible? i´m very new with jira cloud sorry if this question sounds tediose to you
