Ability to show multiple instances of an issue over time on a roadmap

We want to capture recurring meetings in JIRA, but don't want each meeting to be a separate task/issue. Is there any way to do this? We're currently using Excel for this project workstream specifically because we don't want to create multiple issues and create a cluttered roadmap.
