Ability to set Work Estimate for burndown in Project Task tickets

I understand that we can add Work Estimates to the main JIRA tickets but is this also possible for the Project Task issue type (Sub-Tasks)?

I have many JIRA tickets that have their work broken down into Project Tasks but I can't find where I can then add work estimates to those Project Tasks.

Yes it's possible as you see below, if you are a project admin, and the issue type subtasks are using a different set of screens than the task, you can simply add the field "Time tracking" to subtasks' screens

Please remember that sprint (and kanban) estimates do not go on to sub-tasks.
