I am new to Jira and preparing for the ACP-120 Jira Administrator for Cloud exam. Which of the learning paths will help me?
Hi @Onome Lemmy-Ughegbe , thanks for your post.
You can find resources for how to prepare for the ACP-120 here - https://community.atlassian.com/learning/catalog?product=Jira&type=Certification .
If you haven't already booked the exam, I would recommend to do a less advanced certification as your first certification. To pass the ACP-120, you do want / need to have significant experience using and administering Jira in the cloud.
Have you checked out some of the Atlassian Certified Associate pathways? https://community.atlassian.com/learning/certifications/jira-software-essentials
I think you are more likely to be successful the first time, in passing the exam, if you try an easier / associate-level certification than the ACP-120 but of course the final decision is up to you.
Best of luck!
Thank you for your helpful response, Valerie. I appreciate.
I'm checking out the Jira Software essentials certification link you sent now.
However, I have two months of focused learning to prepare. Will that be enough for the ACP-120?

Hi @Onome Lemmy-Ughegbe , thanks for your reply. I studied for 2 months for my first certification in 2021, the ACP-610, after having used Jira already for a few years.
There are a lot of factors to consider. If you are good at studying and taking tests, maybe you will be fine. It is tough exam. I just wanted you to be prepared.
What I have always said to colleagues / friends who want to get a certification, for the ACP-600 / 610 / 620, so Managing Jira Projects, you need to know EVERYTHING there is to know about managing projects.
For the ACP-100 / 120, you need to learn about more topics, but in less detail. For the ACP-120, they can ask you about anything in Jira, so you are accountable for more information.
I would also ask someone like @Jimmy Seddon or @Robert Hean on their thoughts as they have prepared and led study groups for the certification exams.
Best wishes
