Login to our Jira/Confluence instance is completely integrated with Active Directory.
All onboarded employees appear if we browse for users as administrators.
We add those we want to our projects and spaces.
This works.
For all users but one.
The account appears in Atlassian.
She has the same profile and permissions as everyone else.
Worse, it worked a week ago. IT operations swear they have not touched the account.
Any thoughts on how we managed to screw things up?
Thanks
So "it" doesn't work for one user, OK – can you clarify what exactly is being observed?
Hi Fredrick, welcome to the Community!
I'd like to understand more about the issue you're having and the configuration you have. You've listed that you're using Jira Cloud, and your user management is integrated with Active Directory. Are you using Atlassian Access, G Suite, or some other method of integration with Active Directory?
Is the user you mentioned unable to log into Jira? Or are you having problems granting her permissions to specific projects?
Atlassian Access (our solution for identity management in the Cloud for Atlassian products) does have an audit log that should be helpful in tracking down changes to user accounts if you are using Access to integrate with your Active Directory environment.
Otherwise, knowing more about the configuration and issue will help us troubleshoot.
Thanks,
Daniel
