9.12.X LTS : 9.12.4 to 9.12.8 Licence Too Old For Build

I have Jira server 9.12.4 LTS version.
the license for all servers expired on 02/15/2024.
9.12.4 is the last version released before 02/15/2024
but this is an LTS version and that’s the problem
I wanted to update to the new version LTS 9.12.8
why can't I do this? Is this an LTS version or am I missing something?
for whom are new server versions of LTS created, released after 02/15/2024

Hi Lex,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Since you have an expired license, you cannot upgrade to a newer version of Jira. Your license is only valid for all LTS releases until 14.2.2024.
While you are using LTS, you must have a Jira Data Center license for further LTS updates.
