We're on Sever 7.5.1 and looking to upgrade to the cloud. While we'd rather not upgrade to 7.6.4 first then upgrade to the Cloud, we can't seem to get a definitive answer if we NEED to upgrade to 7.6.4 first. We're hoping to get this done this week (we have 3 projects and not many issues so this isn't a big lift).
Any help would be great.

If you're looking to migrate a small footprint to Jira Cloud, you'll want to use Jira Cloud Migration Assistant. That tool does require you to be on 7.6 or later.
So, yes, you should upgrade to 7.6.4.
