404 and 500 error after base_url updated

I've just installed a new JIRA server, the server was first installed at a VM whose ip was xxx.

After that, I changed the VM ip to yyy

When I first browse JIRA by url yyy, login as root, it prompted me that base url needed to be updated to yyy, I approved. Now I'm keeping get 404 and 500 while browsing, some pages were ok, some were not

How to solve the problem? Thanks

I think

Context path under <jira-install>/conf/server.xml is not correct.

u can check and update Host name and while login to JIRA

u can give UrL: localhost:8080. it's by default...

if this port  is used by some other applications u need to change the port and try to login with new port.

Editing JIRA's General Configuration

To access and edit options on the 'General Configuration' page:

1. Log in as a user with the JIRA Administrators global permission.
2. Choose  > System. Select General Configuration to open the Administration page.   Keyboard shortcut: g + g + start typing general configuration
3. Edit Configuration button to edit   there is  a Base URL:The base URL of this JIRA installation
