Hi, I get a 403 error when attempting to delegate Confluence's user management to JIRA.
Here's the error:
Connection test failed. Response from the server:com.atlassian.crowd.exception.ApplicationPermissionException: Forbidden (403) Encountered a "403 - Forbidden" error while loading this page. client.forbidden.exception Go to Jira home
Some facts:
- I've turned off all whitelisting.
- I created an application for JIRA user server.
- I've successfully created an application link between Confluence & JIRA.
- I'm using just IP addresses in a development environment.
- JIRA and Confluence sit on their own Windows Servers. Both use port 80.
