We host both Jira and Confluence Server. Users access them through a proxy as follows:
org.com/jira
org.com/confluence
We are switching from the proxy server to Azure Application Gateway, keeping the same external URLs.
After the switch, Confluence fails to authorize with Jira. Specifically, it receives a 403 Forbidden response when trying to connect (e.g., for user management or application links).
Troubleshooting done:
Turned off IP allowlisting in Jira
Verified that both services are reachable via the browser through App Gateway
Jira logs show a 403 response to Confluence requests
Hi @vipul newaskar and welcome,
please check the url defined in the Application Link for both JIRA and Confluence and auth method.
If necessary please share a screenshot of that settings.
Hope this helps,
Fabio
