Someone actually asked us this week to put together some demo videos of Plans, and these are perfect! 😄
I’m definitely forwarding this series to the client so we can spend our session on Q&A instead of recreating what’s already beautifully done.

Cheers for putting this together! 🙌

This is a very timely post! We are also about to demo plans to a client that has been using Structure in DC.

I watched this last night on the Atlassian YouTube channel; will the whole series be posted up? Useful content to send to our user community...

I stole this video and put it straight into the little Plans-guide I have created a while ago in our Confluence instance. Amazing stuff! Thank you so much!

I love this - have been trying to get my fellow Teams to use Plans more often.

This is great.

Super useful - just been chatting about getting some more Plans smarts out to a few key teams!

As we've been rolling out the Program Board in particular to teams there's a few key features I'd love to see coming next...

📊 Analytics is awesome for custom charting... but it feels like Plans metrics could do with a tune up. In particular offering a cross-team burnup view that matches the concepts in the Program Board (or wider plans) would be super useful - "Can we see if we're heading towards making this quarter's plan we created?" is a reasonable thing to want a quick solution for

✨ It's easy to muck up a date or need to tweak something with the Program Board - having the option to edit existing boards config including dates would be very handy including https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-95381

🏷️ The existing approach to labelling work for planning is ok as a workaround, but some more programmatic (and/or Rovo-powered!) solutions feel appropriate - being able to select the range of items using JQL/Filters for example

🤨 The relationship of chunkier work items like Epics to sprints feels like it can mature. Standard work items should fit within sprints a la normal Scrum guidance, but Epics can often span a few - this and how setting sprints/dates on parent/child items do/don't align with each other could be improved
