After Jira requested the accounts to be re-authenticated, the re-authentication process was completed successfully. However, the functionality is now behaving incorrectly.
I have five incoming mail account configurations for different projects, and when I send an email to the corresponding mailbox, the incidents are created randomly in one of the other incoming mail projects instead of the correct one.
I assume, and hope, that this is a temporary issue on Jira's side.

On June 19, 2026 at 18:30 UTC, an expiration of OAuth authentication certificates used to refresh Microsoft access tokens disrupted the mail service integration, preventing Jira from retrieving work items and comments generated from email messages.
We promptly renewed the certificates, and posted on Statuspage with actions that customers need to take to restore email functionality.
