Jira Image of the Day: Tip for Switching Between Multiple Cloud Sites

What is shown?

The “Switch sites or apps” function in Jira Cloud.

Visit: Jira > Grid icon (Top left)

What can we learn?

If you have access to multiple Jira Cloud sites, use the switcher function to quickly navigate between them. You’ll find the function at the left of the top main navigation menu.

By default, the menu shows a two-letter code representing each unique Cloud site. Hover over the letters to see the site’s full name as a tooltip.

Tip: As shown in the screenshot, the left side of the menu is expandable and collapsible. I discovered this accidentally with an unintended mouse click! Expand the menu to always display the full site name. As a Jira consultant, I frequently switch between sites, so it’s nice to be able to see site names in the menu.
