@Haddon Fisher , Well said!! I will repeat once again to Atlassian: STOP MESSING WITH THE UI and go fix some JAC issues that people really care about.
@Wurm Peter , As a Jira admin, it's my job to actively review these changes and then comment/follow-up on behalf of my users. My end users are not going to get on Atlassian community and start complaining about Jira changes. They come to me. So it's up to me to be their voice. I believe that there are probably many admins like myself that are the voice of their 1000 users.
@Kanar0 with a Kanban board, status is possibly the most important field to set. It's great that we can use the full UI, but that means even with an incredibly simple project, the simply entry doesn't work with the most simple board (a kanban board). Is this on the roadmap for the future, or does it have yet to be prioritized? Getting status on the small window seems like it is critical to me for it to be useful.
I really hate the removal of the text formatting toolbar. Even here in the forum you provide critical rich text editing features like lists, hyperlinks, and image upload - yet you removed that from Jira!? I really wish I could revert back to the old editor, but instead have resorted to saving a card with just the title and then editing it so I have all the fields and formatting options available.

Even I am also against this Create screen change , it is confusing users and we are facing more problem. Glad there was option in system admin to turn it off.

@Haddon Fisher I am totally with you. I am an administrator and it was not too difficult to figure out that I could click on the space avatar or work item type to change it but I know my user base. Not only would some of them never pick up on that without someone telling them about it but they wouldn't even think to ask for help about how to change those two fields.
Also while I am comfortable using Markdown and slash commands many users are not and are going to be thrown for a loop by the formatting toolbar's absence. I really don't understand how removing that helps in any way.

Des Kellyyes that's a great point! If you want to make "Create" a better experience, enhance forms and let admins turn those on optionally as the create screen instead.
It's boosting functionality that already exists, doesn't break existing patterns, solves a decent chunk of the problem, and is one more reason to finally finish "forms".

@Blum_ Volker _Extern_ : While we establish contact with right team at ScriptRunner, do you mind hopping on a quick call with us, so that we can debug this quickly?
@Kanad Dagaonkar - this will not be possible, sorry. On the one side, I am very busy, on the other hand, we followed the advice of scriptrunner/adaptavist to turn of the new experience. We need to inform all our 2000 agents about upcoming changes, so we will wait for a new version and the ok from scriptrunner, take a deeper look at the new screen and decide if we will use it in future
is there maybe any training material we can provide 50k Users, who already struggle with the transition from DC to Cloud. Detailed training videos would be appreciated. Especially the changes from the old to the new interface.
