It seems like this version is GREAT as long as you don't need to use it :-) Lastly, how many years has it been that we've been asking to remove the double spacing?? So these changes are not for us, the community.
On the detail view, how do I change the list of items in a filter to just show one line of text rather than the whole title? The way the "new experience" is now, it takes up way more real estate on my screen so I have to scroll to see the whole list, even when there are only a few issues displayed.
Being able to change the width of the list would be nice too. I used to be able to do that. Can't now.
It sure would be nice if the browser tab would show the name of the filter or dashboard being displayed in the new version. The way I use JIRA is to have several tabs open with the filters I use all the time in them. The old version would display the filter name in the tab. The new version displays the item number in the tab. This is completely unhelpful.
Whenever I search for text that looks like it *might* be a JIRA issue number, but NEVER is, instead of just searching for the text as requested, JIRA jumps over to the JQL view and adds OR issuekey = "xxxxx-###" as below: textfields ~ "transtar-558" OR issuekey = "transtar-558" ORDER BY created DESC
This never returns any results until I remove the OR part of the statement.
This is entirely unhelpful and it didn't do this before being forced to use the "new" search version

@Anne Saunders Nope. It doesn't work with or without the quotes. And I agree. I really hate that it's trying to be smarter than me, because it clearly isn't. ;)
The new view is missing features, but the old view is now broken. Get it together, Atlassian. We are PAYING MONEY for a product that you keep breaking without warning.
After viewing the old comments, you want to see the STATUS! Where is that "insignificant" button?!? Ah yes, scroll to the top to see the status!!! Really simple!!! I wonder whose idea this was!!! 🤕🤕🤕
Please let us switch back. I hate that I can't resize the left-hand list view and can't use the arrow keys to navigate up and down the tickets. I have had to switch dozens of tickets manually for some work that couldn't be automated. This new view makes this grievously slow.

@Jordan Miranda Thank you for your feedback. You can use J / K keys to navigate the list of work items. You can also use arrow keys to navigate cells in list view.
@Ivan Ran j / k keys are not working in either views. I primarily use detailed view and want to use the arrow keys to move up and down the list. I also want to be able to resize the list on the left-hand side to make the tickets list bigger or smaller to try and make it as close to the original view as possible.
