Basic filters in the board

we've just migrated from a team-managed project to a company-managed project, and I'm trying to enable "basic filters" (e.g. labels, epic, assignee...) on our new board.

I understand I can create custom filters, such as all issue with label=xxx, but I'm looking for the dropdown of all labels to use ad-hoc and create on the fly.

Ideas?

Unfortunately I believe the custom filters are your only option in company-managed projects:

That is correct. The built-in filters for Epics and Labels seen in Team Managed projects are not available in the boards for Company Managed projects. You can filter the Assignees using the people Avatar images that display above the board, though.

I found a change request specifically about adding the built-in Labels filter:
