Hello all,
I'm at lost about this "new" app role Stakeholder in my JSM cloud instance. I'm on a Standard plan, so I am not sure if I should have access or not to that.
The UI is very confusing:
So where is the truth in that? I know Atlassian can be very good with confusing interface but here I have no idea what to think...
Help!
(And Rovo has no idea of course)
The stakeholder role or stakeholders can be used on Alerts within Incident Management in JSM.
In a premium plan this can be any user with an account within Jira, if you are on a standard plan, than you have to grant user, that need to be set as stakeholders, an Agent license.
Ok, thank you, so there is a subtile difference between plans.
I won't use this role for now as we don't use the Incident module.
Thank you for the precisions.

Hi @Jonathan Porta,
As per this support article, the new stakeholders role can be used for incident communication in a standard plan as well, but you should only be able to add users to that role that have an agent license assigned to them.
It is a way to test and experience how the feature works, but you won't be able to use it for unlicensed users - which is different on premium and enterprise plans.
Hope this helps!

I think you added the wrong URL in the link, as it redirect to this community article.
