Sending mass communications from master ticket

Hi All

I don't think the functionality currently exists but thought I'd double check. 

If we have multiple service tickets raised about the same issue we'll link it using a master ticket. But if the response is the same there isn't currently a way to reply all that I've been able to find and we're sending out the same message individually to all tickets. 

Does anyone know if there is a way to mass message multiple tickets at the same time?

@hollyjoy You can setup a automation that will handle this for you.  When a comment is posted to the parent issue it would also post a comment to the linked issues.  You would need to setup the parent with some identifier (Issue Type, Component, Etc.) so that the automation would only run on the parent issues.  Here is a community post that is similar.  https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Adding-comments-to-linked-issues/qaq-p/859839
